Skills
Computer Networking
I am very familiar with DNS, DHCP, IPv4 and IPv6, VLANs, TCP and UDP, VPNs, OSPF, EIGRP, eBGP and iBGP, Ether-channel, HSRP, VRRP, many more networking concepts. I mostly work with Cisco IOS and Meraki equipment. I have been involved with computer networking for over eight years!
HTML & CSS
I am also fluent in HTML & CSS. I have been a doing web development for almost five years. I can use a variety of CSS libraries. I can also build sites with WordPress. I use Amazon Web Services for hosting my website.
UNIX CLI
I am most familiar with the UNIX CLIs. I am have been working with Mac OS since 2011 and Kali Linux since 2017. I can do bash scripting and can easily navigate around the terminal.
Windows CLI
Windows was the first operating system I worked with. I have been working with Windows for over 10 years. I use Windows CLI on a daily basis not only for my program but also in my personal life.
Python
This is my strongest programming language. I have been coding in Python for almost five years. I know how to do procedural and object-oriented programming.
Microsoft Office
I have been working with Office for a number of years. I am mostly familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher & Outlook. I can also use Apple's iWork office suite and LibreOffice.
Computer Hardware
I can diagnose and repair a variety of hardware issues. I can also build computers. I have been working on computer hardware since 2014.
Virtual Machines
I have been working with virtual machines since 2012. I have worked with VMware ESXi, VMware Workstation, VirtualBox, Proxmox and Parallels Desktop. I run Proxmox on my virtual machine server and use VMware Workstation on my desktop.
Customer Service
I worked in retail for over two and a half years can talk effectively on the phone and serve customers in person. I learned through my work in retail to stay calm and focus on the task at hand even when customers are not as cooperative.
